Default The 55g plan

So this is sord of what myt tank will look like. Im not sure if it is big enough for the tangs, will they be alright? for eqiepment i am going to use glass canopies, The super nove t-5 fixture, and the berlin hang on. the first fish will be either the cardinal fish or the clowns. The eel will be one of the last fish i will add. Will there be any compatability issues with the fish i have picked? thanks.

well, i think as long as they are all small, like the tangs and foxface, they all need at least a 70g tank. So when you but them, make sure they are very small! 9 fish in a 55g tank? well, if its all chromis's but you have some pretty big fish in there!

I would go with only one tang, and clown. the flame angel will be a nice addition!

I think the anemone whould be fine in there.

I think you will need to be drawing about twice as much rock in there, if not more.

Well its kinda hard to draw rock you know! lol
and that anemone just really scares me.

Does anyone keep more than one saltwater tank? Just wondring because I was thinking of doing a reef in my 20g instead and 55g would be like a FOWLR

Wow really, Were your clowns adults? no one ever told me of them eating fish like that. you probably fed it live foods. In most cases, the eel escapes the tank lol

Everytime I talk about the snowflake eel, no one responds! Has everyone had bad experiences with this eel?

Our church's kids building has a GINORMOUS saltwater tank; pretty much a fowlr but they have two snowflake eels that are about 3 feet long and they have mostly LARGE fish and the smaller fish have plenty of room to stay away from the eels so.... I'd play it safe and maybe do a tank witht he eel(s) only?

Well I this is what it will look like without the eel and more live rock. I cant believe I erased that eel. But i thought about it and 55g is not a verry good size for large fish so i think im going to get into the medium sized fish. When i get my tank running wich will be anywere from januery to summer, i will post pics
