I will be getting my own fish room soon! Ill be adding a sea grass tank in the fish room and hopefull, once that fille in I will be able to get rid of my skimmer! I hope to have a 30g sea grass tank, but am not sure yet. I still have a lot of research to do plus all the time it requires to get the DSB established.

Congrats on the fishroom! It's a relief having the room needed without being restricted from the plans you want to do!

Yeah, it sure is! It is really the furnace and my mother sells books and that is "her book room" but there is enough space for me to put a tank or 2. so hopefully in about 2-3 months ill havea seagrass tank up and running.

So what else will you be putting in this tank?

well, after it gets established, possibly a few small dwarf sea horses. If not sea horses, maybe a madarin goby or something like that. I plan on having the grass grow nice and thick and get full of pods.

Right now, I have a 55g reef tank, a 20g sump. a 20g long frag tank(still in the process of being set up) And soon to have a 30g sea grass tank! This is exciting, I never dremed of having something this extravegant until I get my own place.

The room is not that small, its actually a decent size, maybe 10x10ish.

I thought you were selling that 55 a while ago? Now you are going to have 3 tanks? WOW!

yeah I was going to, but I changed my mind. I automated a few things and that made like a lot easier.

I see elliott packing up moms books in about 6 months for more room, I would love to have my own fish room, to get that I would have to build a closet around the 29 gal!!

Haha....no packing up books. Im not gonna be using this room anymore, my dad doesnt want me to put holes in the wall, and mom doesnt want me to put anyhting larger than a 10g in there.

tell them you need more space, remodel the basement or actic......although a small water spill from actic and momma would be pretty up set.

Cool that you've got supportive parents. You never know where a "hobby" can take you in life, and the dedication to your tanks is a great habit to have.
