HELP! how do you get your dkH down? water changes? because my dkH is at 17.sense i just have a 28 gallon im goin g to buy ro/di water from the LFS is that a good plan? they charge 44 cents for a gallon. i also got me two small corals and put a damsel fish in. just simple small working my way up. how do you get rid of phosphates? mine is .25 i dunno why. im not over feeding or anything i dunno. here is a pic of my new corals. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...wcorals005.jpg |

| ro/di water so i got 5 gallons of ro/di water. what exactly do i need to do with it to do a water change. i also plan to put some in my freshwater. will that speed up the nitrogen cycle? im just putting guppies in there. i know thats totally off topic to reef forums. but anyway the reason i need to do a water change is because my phosphates are .25 and i used tap water. can you tell me how to use ro/di water ? what all the steps you need to take or give me a forum? becuase i cant find one. thanks so much |
