i am confused the Current Nova Extreme Pro looks really good and its 234 watts look at it on

Aquarium Lighting for Reef Systems: Current Nova Extreme Pro Saltwater T-5 Fixtures

and i no i can find it cheaper online

but the Tek Light on

http://www.reefgeek.com/product/36_i...unlight_Supply

looks a little to expensive in the end with also adding the stand

i mean overall in you opinion is the Current nova extreme pro worth it in the end ???? and does it come with the light bulbs cause i cant tell .. also in an estimate how much do you think a bulb change would cost changing all 6 of the Nova lights after like 6 months ???

BECAUSE I REALLY NEED TO DECIDE ALREADY

Personal opinion here.I've never myself owned either one.I have freinds that do .From what I've observed(this is my own personal opinion)I like the Tek better. It seems to be better built, and it has "true" individual reflectors. The Current is nice too,for the price its awesome. Both had good growth but their setups were different.

They had the same growth but with different setups. There are so many other factors that are tied in.I would say if you have the $ go tek.If not,the current is good bang for your $.If William1's tank doesn't scream go Tek I don't what will convince you!

I really like my tek light the growth I get from the bulb selection is super.. I added some sps last month and they are already encrusting the epoxy I used to place them in the tank.. The versitility of the bulbs can leave for a great coloration combinations. If the other light is a little cheaper same amout of bulbs and the same wattage go for it... I just know there are a few people using the tek light so I thought if its working out for other reefers then it will work for me to. I talked with a couple other people before who had one before making my choice... If I had extra money for a chiller I would add 2 MH of coarse. I have them here already just didnt use them two 400 watt MH. I just didnt know to many people using the other light...

I gave you the link in one of your other threads that found the Tek light with 6 bulbs included for $389. Yes, you still need to buy the stand legs and an acrylic cover if needed and William gave me a link to Reef tank lighting that saved you another $30 on these two accessories. I am in the same boat about picking out a new light but I would go with an 8 bulb unit. I have never seen a tank with t5's in person. So that's why I am draggin my feet.

Try searching the cost of bulbs yourself. It depends on what brand you want. I have seen them as cheap as $15 on the web to $30 a bulb. Good luck.

what you said about the stand legs and acrylic cover and Williams link saving another $30 i cant find it on

http://www.reeftanklighting.com/shop...Power+Supplies

i think youd have to buy the light from them to get the other 2 things cheaper cause i cant find it alone to order separate and the other website you were talking about was this

Sunlight Supply

I am sure that you can order them separately. Just call the guy, he was very nice.
