Default How deep????
Currently I have about 1-1 1/2 " sand bed is this deep enough? I've heard lots of plus and minuses to deep sand beds. Just wanted some opinions.

Well I'd say go 3 inches. Thats what I have. You're gonna get worms and all sorts of stuff that burrow in it. 3 inches will help with your filtration. Also some fish like to burrow too.
