Default has anyone split corals?

I'm fairly new to corals and we have several varietys. I was told that the mushroom corals can be cut into pieces and they will regenerate. Is this true?

Not sure but a book "The Reef Aquarium" Volume one by Charles Delbeek and Julian Sprung might have the info you need.

I've read that you can cut these and have several "Frags". But I decided to just move them around the tank and now I have about 7 new starts. If you want, I can provide the instructions on a surgical method?

I havent tried it, but i read that you can put them in a blender and dump them into a tank and they will grow all over the place, lol.
