Default Adding a Bluejaw trigger

I have a 150 gallon reef. with 4 chromis, 1 marroon clown, 1 yellow, purple and red sea sailfin Tang, and a mystery wrasse. I want to add a bluejaw trigger. My corals are 2 candycanes, brain, rose anenome, green hammer and Duncan coral. Plan to add Blasto and a clam. I have read the bluejaw trig is not as aggressive eating corals as other triggers. Does anyone have experience with this trigger.

Sorry, no experience with that one but many others. This is a fact, triggers can and will be aggressive. There are stories (LFS friend told me) of how he had one for I think he said 2 years in with other fish (as you propose) and one morning walked into the room and to his horror, the trigger had killed everyone and was feasting on one as he watched. Huge mess to get all the shredded corpses out.
Mine have been fine and out of the blue would "pick" one fish out and be hell bent on getting it. Fortunately the fish hid terrified for a few days came out and was never bothered again. It is a crap shoot and don't let anyone tell you different.

The trigger that I have is a niger and he has gotten pretty agressive but has only bothered a few fish that I shouldnt have put in the tank in first place. But I think you could give it a try and if its not going well pull him out.

The bluejaw has been in the tank for 4 days. He is still scared when people come near the tank. I have not seen him eat when I feed the other fish. So far no picking on corals.

Everything is going well so far, all the fish are getting along well. The trigger still hides a lot though.
