Default My brother's old tank

I gave my brother a big freshwater tank for his gigantic arrowana four years ago. He doesn't live here anymore so he left the tank (the arrowana passed away). Could I still salvage the old freshwater tank and then use it for saltwater tank? Or should I drop the whole idea? Coz if not I'll just buy some goldfish and put it on his old tank. I'll just buy a brand new tank.

Yes , you still can use the tank as long as the seams look good and you have a good base , also you'll want to clean the tank with rubbing alcohal and then with lots of water. I'v been there befor but yes it is ok to do that and good luck to you.
