Default Button polyps

Hi everyone, recently my button polyps have rolled their edges and are not open to the point of showing their "hairs". Here are my stats and such;Fish; 3 Green Chromis, 1 Coral beauty, 1 Yellow fin Damsel (a little cranky) and 1 Royal Gramma
Corals; 1 large Toad stool, 1 Colt, Many button (Palys'), 1 Cabbage, 1 sun/with Green stars, and 1 mushroom rock. Also, Halemeda algae.
Mag = 1280, Calc = 400, Alk = 11 dkh, Ph = 8.2 and Sg = .025
Lights are; Nova extreme T5 (10,000k daylight and 420 Actinic) and 2 Power bright LED strips. Lights are on for 10 hours.
Tank is 55 gal. with built in corner over flow, Mega flow 1 sump and Coralife super skimmer, also a Poly multi media Phosphate reactor.
Any help is appreciated.

Its funny, mine are doing the exact same thing. I just figured it is because I changed my lighting schedule by an hour, but I am not sure. I changed the sched a little over a week ago. I know exactly what you are talking about. And sorry, but I do not know why.

nice tank, ive some similar polyps they are high up in flow and thriving, yours look similar in position so it cant be flow or light, unless the new lights are too much (very unlikely) hard to say for definate, doubt its water condition as they are hardy and you have more sensitive corals in there, perhaps you should leave them a few days and if it doent improve try moving them down a bit

Since you just got the new lighting, try to move them down a little bit, maybeall the way to the sand and see if they open and regrow the "hairs" as you say. If not, slowly move them back up to where you want them.

Do you have flatworms? Check because even tho flatworms primarily feed on shrooms, they will also go for other corals. Zoas and Paly's combat them by rolling themselves up and often time trying to eat the worm....
Hopefully this is not your issue but that is another reason why Paly's roll.

Thanks to all who have responded. Thought I would post this follow up. I started Sunday adding a product called "Coral Boost" by Weiss Organics. It is all natural. Today, I noticed the polyps opening and extending their "hairs". Coincidence? Who knows but the product does state that is one of the benefits.
