I am kind of attached to mine! They are a symbol of success. They can be a tough fish in your tank, but i like them.

if you chose to start your tank with these hearty fish why would you turn your back on the little guys. They gave you pleasure When nothing else would do? Give them a break they are just fish.

| I'm not turning my back....... I love my fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow you sure do know to make a guy feel good¿¿? Starting this tank has been a joy!! yes I did use the Damsels to help cycle my tank. But I have a brother with a bigger tank already set up that will give my Damsels a new home! So I am not turning my back on them ! I just teased them before they get to move from an Apartment into a CONDO!!! #9 (permalink) Today, 11:26 PM jvharding Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Lansdale, Pa Posts: 94 Damsels are People Too! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you chose to start your tank with these hearty fish why would you turn your back on the little guys. | I did not mean to offend you. It was just that others talk the fish down in the thread and are saying what bullies the damsels are! well I do not hear any Tang bashing they are bullies too! What is it because these fish cost 5 to 8 bucks lets trash the damsels! |

i have 2 yellow tailed and 2 dark blue damsels with a Cleaner & Fire Shrimp. Tank is done w/ cycle i would have like to keep the damsels but it looks like im going to have to get rid of them. Went on vacation for 3 days (before i add corals etc..)came back and the one of the dark blue damsel eye barely attached and his other dark blue tank mate darts for him every other minute. not sure why plenty of space nooks (territory) for each and it doesn't seem to matter where in the tank the little guy goes. I DO KNOW W/ THIS BEING MY 1ST SALTWATER TANK I DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE SAME AGGRESSIVE TANK I HAD W/ CICHLIDS.

If you feel that you have outgrown the Damsels and you have a good home them, then let them go...I returned mine to the pet store I couldn't justify keeping them when they kept my clowns from the food...I want my fish to be pals and happy not having to watch their tales...but in the end it's your tank
