Default Sharks

is there any sharks that wont kill all my fish, cause i really wanna get one but i dont want that to be my only fish in there, is there a peaceful shark that wont grow bigger than 5-6 inches in a 40 gallon tank

Most sharks require at least 250 gallons, and most get upto 1 foot in length. I would not keep sharks with other fish unless they are known to live together successfully. (Large angels would be a good idea)

sharks also thrive better in a circular tank for their continous swimming.
could always go freshwater they do have "sharks" lol

i used to use freshwater, i actually had a i think its a bala shark for awhile but they dpont have teeth, i want some thin fun to feed and just watch haha, and ive noticed saltwater is cleaner in my opinion, wierdly easier to maintain
