Default MY new tank

i had a previous 10g tank withot much success and I was considering starting up a new 40 to 50 gallon tank so if anyone has any advice on starting it up please share it

Go with as large as you can possibly afford !! Larger tanks have less dramatic swings in the water quality and balance. Makes maintaining easier

I agree, the bigger you can afford the better. Take it slow too! Don't rush into anything and always have patience.

Ditto. bigger is better when your talkin tanks. check local papers for used tanks. My 180 gal was 500 dollars. and then I got ahold of a 100 gal acrylic w/ all equip for 400 dollars. My First was a 55 gal then I started looking for bigger tanks because of the fact that my water quality seemed to fluctuate. Water changes do not need to be done as often, therfore less fish stress, less work.

thanks for the advice ive bin doing a lot of looking on craigs list and at a pet store near my house but i still cant find and good deals

ive found a 30 gallon tank that a guy who works at my pet store is selling so im trying to get that one i also went and got my self some sweet corals to put into it
