I have 2 x Dual 13W 6,700K CF's on my refugium.. The Chaetomorpha has quadrupled its size within 7 months and the Coraline covers all four walls completely. I'm not sure how safe it is to keep softies under CF's because I have never tried it, but you can certainly grow plants and Chaeto..

No problem buddy, thats what I am on this reef for haha! Please do let us know if you go through with it. I am pretty intrigued now about the softies possibility. If the light intensity is enough and water parameters are in check then I don't see a reason not to try keeping a frag under a CF.. Answers? Experience? Rumors? Doubts? .. Anybody?
