| Most people use extruded foam insulation. I prefer a thin (1/8") layer if your stand is smooth and level and up to 1/2" if your stand isn't as smooth on the top. Most building supply stores sell it.

| You can also check out a foam camping mat or yoga mat. I went to Walmart here in the US and grabbed a blue mat for use under your sleeping bag. I think it cost me $6-7 USD and works quite well. It's about 1/2 thick and firm. I just trimmed it to size on my 75g. |
