Default Old Fiji rock

I tore down my old 55g 3yrs ago when I moved out of state, I had about 25 lbs of fiji live rock at the time. I gave away the fish and with all the confusion of moving, I forgot about the live rock....it got all dried up and been sitting in my shed in a bucket for the last 3 years.....Should I just toss it or could it reuse it at the bottom/back of the new tank I'm setting up?....I'm not too cracy about using it if it would do more harm than good because it's been sitting there for so long and there is fertilizer and other lawn/garden chemicals in my shed, it's not touching the rocks but in the summer when the shed heat up the whole thing smells of fertilizer....what do you guys think, I might be able to soak it in saltwater for a few weeks and re-use it or should I just throw them out?

I used rock that sat in my rotting idle tank for almost 2 years! and can not believe the life i am getting out of the once lifeless rocks. do you think that ferilzer may have been sprayed on the rock? I would soak it in a trash can for while and dump and resoak a few times. I think it would be ok. The rock should be reusable. I have a whole trash can full of rock in the basement from old 150 gallon tank i plan on using again some day!

I would use it. I would cure it like you would any other new rock . During curing it you can test the water and see if you are getting any crazy readings. If the water tests good after about 4-6 weeks then definitly use it.
