n/p reducing pellets vs vodka dosing

what is advantage of dosing with pellets instead of vodka and bacter 7

also would it be functional to apply both methodes

I never used the vodka dosing method, but used the NPBs with good results. They lower nitrates to nothing and help with posphates a bit.
