Default what am i doing wrong

green stap polyp not coming out. sorry i'mnew at this.75gal.oceananic tank water tested normal exept nitrates at 20 .i have 2 70 wmh &2 65W actinic. lights are on a 12 hour on off cycle.it has small bumps on about half my rock with little green specks. it hasnt opened for about 3 weeks now.what should i have done and what can i do. anenomes doing fine.leather looks normal,feathers and brown mushroom polyps coming out. tanks been up for about a year now.just cant seem to keep anything with colar alive.

thank you for responding.ph 8.3 nitrites 0 ammonia 0 nitrates 20. this seems to be a concern of mine cant seem to get it any lower.calcium 320 trying to raise with a diy kalkwasser drip. these are the only tests i cerantly??? own.

just tested 1.022.it seemed to pep up a little last night when i had only the actinic lights on.but today it looks bare again.

hey fish dad i have star polyps green i have them at the top of my tank right below the water level
how old are your bulbs
personally i think you leave your lights on to much i keep mine on for 8 hours a day

thanks i'll give that a try. my actinics are only a month old and halides are only 2 weeks.this all started when i started to move it closer to the lights maybe it was to soon ,i only waited obout a week befor i started moving it.than we had a ice storm witch knocked out power for a day.i guess just a series of unfortunt events.anyway it does seem to be perking back up a little latly so .hopfully time will heal the pain.thanks again this forium has been very helpfull.

put the green star polyps on your sand bed and give them a little flow. See how they do.
