Default Brine shrimp

I have a Bicolor Pseudochromis (Pseudochromis paccagnellae) also known as a royal or bi color dottyback. I've read about them and found that they like to eat live brine shrimp so I bought some sea monkeys and started to grow them because there just a species of brine shrimp (the largest according to their website) and started to grow them to eventually feed him.I just want him/her to have a enjoyable diet. Does anyone see a reason why this isn't a good idea? or could be harmful to my fish? it seems like it would be ok to me, any imput would be great.
Thanks,
Ryan

Brine shrimp are ok. Make sure you feed them some Selcon or other high potency supplement. I use primarily frozen, enriched diets - a variety of foods is very important.

I've never raised live brine shrimp, but I've read and heard that you give them the selcon or enriched food supplement about 24 hours before you feed your fishes with the brine shrimp.

i used to work at a sw store and we hatched our own (brine shrimp)
one thing i noticed was some fish would not eat the frozen brine after eating live ones
but in the words of the store owner feeding brine shrimp is like raising your kids on popcorn
its a lot of substance but not much nutrients

brine shrimp is a nice treat but holds little nutrition otherwise...

I'd mix the foods up for your fish

That was my plan, I kind of wanted the live brine shrimp to be a fun treat for him to eat every now and then. not an everyday thing.
Thanks for the help
