Default Coraline algea growth

So everyone wants coraline algea, what are some good ways to ensure and promote it's growth?
Thanks for the input.

Default Re: Coraline algea growth

First & foremost you need to have it somehow introduced into your tank. Get some rubble that has it or snail/crab shells that has it - scrape the coralline that's on it & let the spores get released into your tank. The circulation will carry the spores around. You'll need some light & provided your water quality is fine it'll grow. Calcium additives help. Purple-up is a good one for helping the growth once it starts.
