The Max is probably the granddaddy of all cubes. One nice looking unit - everything you need in one clean package. If you have the $$, get it.

I just recieved mine and its great. Everything that is needed is there and dont forget the red sea max starter kit you may need it. The only problem I had was the heater was broken when I got it so I had to fax them the reciept. Still havent got the heater so i went and bought one. System makes almost no sound except when the lights cooling fan is running. I used half the bag of reef substrate that came with the starter kit and seeded it with a 15 lb bag of live sand. I Added some live rock and added some astrea snails and a cleaner shrimp. I just got two feather duster worms and there doing great. The system is a joy so far. like it says plug and play except with a little assembly like the stand and adding the filter parts to the sump. hope i helped good luck!
