| DIY Saltwater Aquarium Chiller Notes on a do-it-yourself (DIY) reef aquarium chiller Aquarium Chillers - Marine Depot - Marine and Reef Aquarium Super Store Hope that helps. ![]() Honestly, unless you are inclined to do it yourself...I might think about the last idea. Marine Depot seems to have them fairly cheaply. The CoolWorks Ice Probe is only $100, which is quite reasonable, considering the small size you are talking about. Most of the DIY solutions I am seeing involve small fridges. You could also try a few fans placed strategically to force air movement across the tank. |

| hmmmm...so the ice probe would end costing around $150 total, i just dont see how i could use it with my bio-cube....unless i drilled a hole into the back of the tank into the upper skimmer tank. ugh...that makes me nervous. i need to find a used chiller, there has to be someone out there that wants to get rid of one. ANYONE ANYONE??? steve |
