Default Angels in reefs

I put a passer angel in a reef tank, the tank is 265 gallons with some tangs and dwarf angels. He's been a good boy so far with the corals and other fish. He's a juv. angel but just wondering if anybody else has tried a passer angel in a reef?

Very pretty fish. I think each fish has its own tastes and personality. You have a very big tank and being a juvenile you should be able to trainhis eating habbits. keep him fed and you should be fine, unless you have a clam then your in trouble no angel can resist the clams mantle dwarf or standard. post some pics or write what you have and how long.

I would like to see some pics of your filter. Should be pretty impressive on a tank that size.

I don't have any pictures of my filter system it basically a wet dry filter system with a protein skimmer. I also have uv light, and change a quart size carbon container in my filter system every two weeks. Every Sat. morning I do a 20 gal water change and clean the front and side glass. Also have an R.O. set up under my tank so that I have water ready at all times. I did something a few weeks back that I will never do again, we bought a different couch so I had to move my tank up by 5 inches , we started at 5:30 and finished 8hours later, totally emptied the tank of everything . I lost my best two fish, a flame angel and a huge powderblue tang. The stress must have been too much. Believe me we looked hard a couch that would fit under the tank, moving the tank up was a last resort. Someday I do plan to add a fuge to my system, my son has a 30 gal. fish only tank that I can transfer fish to. These things are addicting.
