help with corals!!!!!

I have had my 55 gal for about 4 months know and have a nice light-protein skimmer-emprerior box filter-and getting a uv sterilizer.The guy at the pet shop said all ineed if i want corals is to buy the corals.How hard are corals to keep and if i wanted coral are for beginers.

What are your tank parameters? Why lighting do you have? What amount of flow do you have in your tank? All these factors decide what corals you can keep.

a good start for corals are zoos, kenya trees, but it really comes down to your lighting. What are you running?

Another important thing to know, when you see something at the LFS that is just amazing and you have to have it, get the name of it from someone and then walk away... Come home and get online and do your research on it to make sure it's OK for your tank... I know it's hard to do, but you'll save alot of money and grief in the long run, trust me, I've been there, done that...
