Default Rock formation best suiting corals/anemones

Hey guys, I have some pics of my rock setup, I'm thinking about adding corals soon but am afraid my rock setup may not be roomy enough for them, could you give me some advice on how i set it up or possibly changing it?

Aquascapes in a small tank are ever changing. Much will depend on how the corals you purchase are mounted. Most will come on pieces of LR so you'll need to some how place them on the rock you have. If you buy frags, you'll be able to mount them in holes in your rock. It's more a trial & error thing. IMO you have a good beginning by having spots where you can perch new pieces of LR on your base structure.

Once you start adding corals, your rocks will need to be adjusted from time to time to make spaces for the new coral. Try to keep it at a minimum, but realize that you won't really know the best formation until your tank is full of corals.

Also, be careful that the hair algae doesn't get out of control.

It came already on the LR, and my snails have gotten rid of about 1/2 of it. But yeah I just feel like It's too crowded in the back with rocks and hardly any space but ontop the big rock to put stuff on. Maybe rearranging and putting the big rock on the bottom and putting caves above it? Bridges and such

Corals can grow on the sides of rocks, but they do grow up toward the light so it is nice to have some slant on the rocks. Depending on what you want to keep for corals, you may want to keep your sand space in the front of your tank though. Some corals & clams prefer sand over rocks and open sand space also provides a nice place to put frags once you get to that point. Caves look cool and do provide some space for putting low light corals in them, but you probably want to make sure that you still get some lighting that makes it into the cave from above.
