Default Are Damsels really good starter fish? i need help

i have been told that damsels become mean to other fish when they grow. my tank is about 2 weeks old and my water is good. should i get some damsels or somthin else?

i like a couple green chromis. they will be a good cheep test to make sure your water is in good condition.

Damsels shouldn't be offered for sale! Definitely a pain if they decide to be aggressive. Chromis are a good choice for a starter fish.

they are pretty and easy to keep but i don't recommend damsels just because they are mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless thats all you want to keep. they will bother fish twice their size and never calm down chromis are a much better starter fish you won't have to worry about catching them after the cycle.

I'd go with a couple chromis as already mentioned...

Damsels are mean.... I have 3 of them alone in my prop tank and the lil suckers bite the crap out of me when I have my hands in the tank....

i have a damsel. hes quite the...female organ. if i do anything he darts away. hell i'm beginning to think hes scared of my blue leggies...

maybe i just got a not so agressive one?

i love my yellow damsel but she is the meanest fish i have ever seen instead go with cleaner wrasse if u dont want the chromis becasue u will need cleaner wrasse latter and they are about 10 bucks so they are cheap
