Default anyone here have experience with seahares?

I was looking at some info on hair algae eaters. The seahare seemed to be near the top of the list to eliminate hair algae. I know it has the potential to release toxins and it has to be supplemented with seaweed or live algae once it finishes off the hair algae. Has anyone had one? How did it fair? Did you have any problems with toxin release?

I've read about them inking/releasing toxins, but never herd of it actually happen locally, I have herd they are a mean machine to get rid of the algae, trade it back in when its job is done or pass it on to a local reefer, thats what they did here local, it was like the clubs algae cleaner for a while, then it finally perished...

Thanks for the info Krazy K. I spoke with the LFS I deal with he's going to do the same for me. He has a couple of tanks with minor hair algae outbreaks. So he is going to order me one next week. After I'm out of hair algae he going to take it back for his ttanks and give me full credit toward my next purchase.

Just got back from my vacation!! My tank survived my brothers tank sitting. Just had to clean a few prefilters and adjust my skimmer a little. I spoke with my LFS today. The seahare was on backorder from his supplier. It is supposed to be in on thursday or friday. I'll post an update once I get it and see how things go.
