Default prism skimmer~?...

does anyone have any opinion on the prism skimmer? ive heard that it is a good skimmer and then ive heard that it is the worst skimmer that you can buy. i have one but its for my 10 gallon and i believe that it is enough for my tank.

also, if i have a purple firefish and a ocellaris clownfish would it be too much to get another fish that is relatively the same size?

i have a prism skimmer and a mini bio-wheel filter; plus a powerhead to generate more waterflow.

thanks,
nick

if your only using it on the 10 gallon tank, then yeah its alright for that, I think up to about 30 gallons they are descent skimmers, anything above that then you'll wanna get something a bit better.

I have had one on a 20gal. and it did a good job.I think that it would be fine on a 10gal. but i would not put it on anything bigger then a 20.

I dunno about another fish, it might get a little crouded, unless the fish is small.....you can try a mated pair of BCS!
