Default Adding Miracle Mud to an established Refugium

Hello everyone!

I have a 90 gallon reef/fish tank, metal halide lights, refugium. I would like to add some miracle mud to the refugium; however I don't want to shock my tank. Has anyone ever done this before? Also how much would I need to add?

I was thinking of putting some of my tank water into a bucket, adding the mud, letting it settle, then putting it into my refugium.

Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!
