| i just started using purple up to boost my coraline alge growth it has alot of calcium in it and also has alot of other trace elements that are good for coral growth. If you use this make sure not to over use the product this will raise your calcium level fast and easaly raise it to far so make sure you test alot while adding purple up to the tank!!! |

| I am on only 3 weeks of using this purple up and i have seen a boost of coraline algae growth in the tank i test my calcium before i treat with purple up and i test again about 24 hrs later just to make sure i dont raise the calcium level to much. purple up will cloud the water for about an hr after use. So far i like the product but i havent been using it very long. There are trace element blocks or calcium blocks u can buy i see them at my LFS pretty cheep. the blocks slowly break down in the tank so you dont have to worry about adding something else all the time to the tank. you still want to test often if your adding calcium to the tank. hope that helps ya!! |
