are feather dusters a good addition to a reef tank? what kind of star do you recomend if any.

yes they are a good addition. a good starfish is a brittle of somesort, serpants. something like that are easy to care for and hassle free.

featherdusters are great additions and easy to place. brittlestars however are very hard on your snail population especially the astrea they become predators as they grow bigger and can wipe out your snails in a couple of weeks.

Yes they are cool. I was fortunate that my LR shipment had several dusters already in it, and they survived the cycling.
