Pictures of my rock rework. Redesigned the layout so that I would have a greater surface area of different levels of the tank.

Excellent Photography! Beautiful tank I see a Tank of the Month in it's Future. Did you do any research on your Green Brittle Star? Your Goby's could very well be dinner!

This was taken from the following web page:

Beware the Midnight Fish Eater!
One species in common use warrants a statutory warning. This is the Green Brittle Star of the genus Ophiarachna. This animal is a predatory fish eater, that does indeed do a spiffy janitorial job when small... but grows quickly, and under darkness of night can/does learn to eat aquarium fishes. This species has been documented to arch up in "sleeping caves" of captive fishes and drop down on unsuspecting meals. If you use this species, keep an eye on it, and a count on your piscine livestock.

BrittleStars
I usually do, I was always told that BrittleStars" were the best reef star around. Did not know that their aggressiveness differed by the type of brittle. Will have to look into this. Thanks JV.

I have personal expirence with these and I too thought they were good for a reef until fish were disapearing and my green star had broken legs I thought something was attacking my star too. after losing quite a few fish I discovered the Green Brittle was my culprit!

Guess nothing takes the place of good research. Mr. Hyde the Red Lobster in the pictures has killed 2 Fire fish so far. I took the word of a dumb A*@ at the LFS about it being non-aggressive and reef save. Now I have him in this tank and he is being very difficult to get out (have not been able to as of yet). I hope the green brittle will not be a repeat of this mistake. Maybe the brittle will be a peace loving hippy brittle LOL!

Your tank looks beautiful! I can't wait to put livestock in mine! I am so happy to have this forum to look at to keep me occupied while I wait for the cycle to finish. I'm afraid of shrimp and stars now though. It sems like the ocean's a rough place sometimes for it's inhabitants.

When/If I ever build such a large tank I'm without a doubt going to use this as a blue print. Unless you copyrighted it.

Sorry forgot to comment on your tank, I just wanted to say it looks great and like to see the flat rock because it is something different for a change and once the coraline starts building that tank is going to be absolutely beautiful!
