thousands of tiny white things everywhere!!! are these ok, will they hurt my dwarf seahorses?? also growing something black on the sand,,, whats happening??? oh yeah my neon gobies are gasping for air at top of tank,, i need help!!!!!!! this is happening in my 5 gallon horse tank,,,

Tiny white things could be just about anything.
Something black on your sand and fish acting strange at the top of the tank. You need to give water parameters and pictures of what you are talking about. We cannot help you without proper details.

what do copods look like?? i cant post pictures, but i think my fish and horses are suffering, any advice you can give i will do anything to keep suffering from happening!!!!

Copepods, amphipods...you can google those images. Where are these white things? On the glass, on the rocks? On the equpiment? They could be tube worms or sponges???

Did you not wait until your tank cycled before putting fish in? What kind of water are you using? Still need the water parameters....

I think the 5 gallons is to small for horses...

I think that they should be in is a 20gallon high tank.

Could be to much in there taking up the oxygen, maybe an air pump would help ?


White things are pods for sure, they are good

the white things are mostly on glass scooting about,,,
as far as parameters, i dont know this was all my husbands thing and he has left us,,, i am learning as i go, just trying to do the best i can.. so any advice helps
