[Mattfish]

Anyone have experience with gold-spotted rabbitfish? Reef safe? Happy with corals, anemones, shrimp, etc?

We just saw a few the other day at the lfs, and are watching them for a few days to make sure they're healthy, eating, swimming fine, etc before bringing one home.

And it'd be good to know that it'll get along with the other inhabitants - Desjardin Tang, Banggai Cardinal, 6-Line Wrasse, False Clowns, Firefish, Rainford's Goby, Neon Gobies, and soon, some other Tang's - Chocolate and Naso....

Don't think you want that one. They need a 180 or larger. Gold Spotted Rabbitfish (Siganus chrysospilos)

Interesting - I looked in my book and at the web page you included - I thought I was looking at Siganus Guttatus, but maybe it was chrysospilos - now I need to check with the lfs.... he takes care of our tank while away, so he knows the size, which makes me wonder now..... I'll check this out and report back after I actually do some work today.....

It was guttatus, and he's home and breaking in... thanks Gary and Becky for the advice and help on this - he's beautiful.
