salt stuff

im thinking about starting a saltwater fish tank and wanted to know what is the best salt stuff to use and where can i get it

Personally I use Instant Ocean salts to create my initial water and the weekly changes. There are a few others that are talked about highly, but there are also others that aren't that great. I haven't heard Instant Ocean talked about bad yet

Hi I use reef crystals and find it great. Dont be tempted to go for a cheapo salt! It will also depend on if ur keeping fish only or reef as the reef salt has added calcium, mag etc

Hi to all i also use instant ocean and find it a great salt to use. But be very careful because as poohpouri said salt is not jst salt it does depens on if you are thinking of having inverts
