 New Algae???What is it?????help Hi everyone. Does anyone know what this is??? I found it on my liverock that I had for two years. At first it looked like a polyp and then it started to spread like a vine and this was only a week ago. Its growing fast  BUT I dont know what it is. So cant anyone help me......oh by the way new stuff grew from my liverocks after I changed my 150x2 MH to 400x2 MH a month ago. and this is on a 55 gal.   |

| Re: New Algae???What is it?????help umm are you referring to the grape caulrpa, or the bryopsis ? The grape IMO is the best nitrate and phosphate reducer going, when it starts to turn a lighter color pull it out, if you have a fuge put it in, if it grows like crazy you have a trate problem, when it slows down and turns color your in the happy place.Steve |
