Default New Algae???What is it?????help

Hi everyone. Does anyone know what this is??? I found it on my liverock that I had for two years. At first it looked like a polyp and then it started to spread like a vine and this was only a week ago. Its growing fast BUT I dont know what it is. So cant anyone help me......oh by the way new stuff grew from my liverocks after I changed my 150x2 MH to 400x2 MH a month ago. and this is on a 55 gal.

I had the same thing, had to pull it out by hand. It acts like crabgrass!

Looks like Grape Caulpra it's great for reducing phosphates! Some people sell it to thier LFS

umm are you referring to the grape caulrpa, or the bryopsis ? The grape IMO is the best nitrate and phosphate reducer going, when it starts to turn a lighter color pull it out, if you have a fuge put it in, if it grows like crazy you have a trate problem, when it slows down and turns color your in the happy place.Steve
