Default Hard green dots on glass

Hello all,
I have green dots all over my glass in both tanks.
It doesn't wipe away easy.

What is it?
How do i remove it?

Thanks

Pictures would be great.

How old is your tank?
What color of green are the dots?
Do you have LR in it?

It is most likely algae, question is, is it good or bad.

Tank is about 4 months old
Green in color ( small dots )

I will get a glass scaper. Because the glass clening pads suck

Coralline algae comes in different colors. Purple most common, also white, and green.

What causes this anyway?

I wish i could post pictures, but i can't get them to load here for some reason.
I know im doing it right because i used to own my own forum ( 4 yrs ) and i belong to three others and never have an issue.
