Default high nitrate

what is a good plant for my refugium to take out some of the nitrate from my tank have some mangroves in there but taking a wile to work ? nitrate is at 40 ppm 55 gal tank 10 gal refugium ,not many fish feed once or twice a day,water change 15 gal every 2 weeks,use ro/di water 5 stage, if so what kind and where to get them thanks!!!

Chaeto is great for removing nitrates. Feed at most only once a day. You can even skip a day with no problem.
