 Hagen Marina Aqua-Minder Ok, I bought one of these yesterday to try and help me keep an eye on my water temp, and remember when to do tank maintenance. My problem is that the thermometer on this thing just dont seem right to me. The little sticker thermometer on my tank has always kept around 80 and as soon as I put the temp probe in from this thing it was reading 85 and keeps going up and down. I searched the net to see if these are junk or not, but found nothing. It could just be me, but I dont think it is giving correct readings. I guess I will go to wal-mart this evening and get a regular float thermometer and check it against this digital one. Let me know if any of you have any good or bad experience with this product.

| Re: Hagen Marina Aqua-Minder ok, this is a picture of the product. Just to be safe I shut off my MH lights for now, but the water feelt cool to the touch and everything looks normal in the tank.

| Re: Hagen Marina Aqua-Minder at my store we have mostly hagen product and i send these electric thermometers home all the time and i use them for are tanks here at the store, however i founds that some were broke out of the box. so you might go replace it and see. |
