Default Turbo Snails

Does anyone know if have a too high salinity level will kill turbo snails? I accidentaly let my salinity level get too high, and all my snails died...

I know they can handle 1.026 How high are you talking about. I'm guessing you could kill any thing if it got way high. I think I remember seeing the dead sea is about 1.029 and corals grow there and I guessing snails.

Thanks for the response, Im hoping thats what killed them. I brought them a couple days earlier. Ill buy a few more to see if thats what it was. Ive fixed my salinity problem.

It was past 1.030, I dumped alot of salt in accidentally when doing a water change. Ive diluted it now and everything looks ok.. Fish, Crabs, etc..

In the future it is always best to mix the salt and water before adding it to your tank. Letting it set for a while is recommended also.

Yea, it can actually leaves burns on your animals if the salt comes in direct contact with them...
