i dont think you should have a problem but be careful, just keep an eye incase the yellow starts to nip if it does remove either one

well actually im doing a similar kind of thing the other day i introduced a desjardinii int my tank with a purple tang which had been established there for awhile the new fish got kinda beat up the first day but i think they will work it out since the purple seems to be getting used to him, my tank is 6 feet long tho where yours is 4 so u may run into a bit of agression
probably from the purple so you may have to take one out
let us know how it works out

I have a 125 with a lot of rock work over kill - I have three tangs a Safron tang LARGE and yellow tang med and a hipo tang very small. They all seem to be doing very well together. However if I try to add a butterfly fish with any yellow or any strips it gets attacked! So now I have what I have and they seem to be doing very well .

TWO TANGS ARE NEVER A GOOD IDEA!!! One or many the only way to go.
