Well some of you may think I read to much. But this one really shocked me. Any of you think Silica in our tank to encourage a Diatom populations could be a good thing? Well any way read this. It is a short read and very interesting.

While we are on the subject of silica here is a good read that might just freak you out.

Thank Dale that was a good read. I had assumed from what I have read in many post on Form's that any silica was a bad thing. But after reading these articles I'm beginning to wonder what els I have been misled on.

the very foundations of reefdom are colapsing as we speak lol.I put that article in a thread last week and never got a comment on it.
