Default Bristle Worms

Just curious. I know they say things are good in moderation and I also hear that bristle worms are good. But when does to many worms become bad. I gave me fish a small treat to night of some frozen shrimp and the worms came out of every where. My step son and I counted about 20 of them. And I may have missed a few. Is theis too many bristle worms.

Also how fast do they reproduce.

I also have star fish that are white and look like brittle stars. How fast do they reproduc?

they reproduce very quick.
I used a turkey baster to suck them out (you gotta be quick...lol)
Good or bad? I'm not sure.
I bought a bat fish and he ate them
I'm not sure exacty the name of him but he is in the batfish family.

I would thin your worm population. That is quite a few for a 15 gallon tank.
How big is this star fish? Does it have long legs or short?

Both populations can be well up there if you are overfeeding. I would thin the population out...maybe look into a coral banded shrimp.

More than likely. You can buy bag traps for the worms, I never used one, so I do not know how well they work. Worth a try, though.

What about an arrow crab? I am told they eat the bristle worms as well.

I have heard that, as well. Just read up on anything you might employ. Make sure it is right for your tank.

My watchman goby eats bristleworms. Besides, bristleworms are great scavengers. I'd personally let them be. If you cut down on excess feedings, the population will thin down.

I really don't over feed. I give my Damsel one piece of food at a time until he takes it in his mouth and spits it out. Then I add two more pieces for my shrimp.
