Default nervous

Getting a 90 gal. reef tank but I am going away on vacation soon for a week. I don't know whether I should delay the set up until I come back. I will be around for a month before I go away so I can monitor it. I am a little nervous about leaving it unattended though for that week. Nervous about the 90 gals. of water. Any bad experiences that I should consider out there?

Go ahead and set it up put in live rock and substrate and let it start cycling. It needs to cycle for a while before stocking it with anything anyway. It will take while for water perimeters to get right and live rock and live sand if your using sand will help put in beneficial bacterias.

Go ahead like the above said you need time. Maybe it will give you something to look forward to when you get back, your tank could be ready for a few friends.
