| Ok so I need to glue some PVC pipes together for my tank. I bought the cheapest glue home depot had ($1.99). After gluing the pipes together I thought "will this glue mess up my tank, is it hazardous?" So I put it to you guys. The bottle does say "don't swallow, get in eyes, on skin, etc" but I think that’s just when it’s wet? I mean plumbers use this stuff so it should be safe, no?

| Once it's dry, you're good to go. That is the same stuff that almost everyone uses. As for the plastic shavings, they won't cause any problems either. In fact, plastic shavings grow coralline algae really good. People add it into homemade DIY live rock so that it colors up better.
