Default Chaeto

So..What should I do with my Chaeto? I got a sandwich baggie full, and don't know where to put it?? Oh and I don't have a fuge. If I put it in my tank, all the little "strings" stray all over, getting up in my pumps. It doesn't really fit in the retun of my skimmer. Well I can probably make it..should I put it in the bottom of the return on the sump?? I don't really like it in the tank.

Also, when I had it just.. "tossed" into the tank, there seemed to be a string of green bubble, I pulled it out, to see what it looked like up close, it must blend in. Anyone else seen this on their Chaeto?? Thanks!!

By the way, I kind of want to figure this out BY the morning (Friday) so I don't worry about it while I am gone over Christmas.

As long as you have a light over your sump it should be fine there.

Haha the only place it can go...it the return into the tank! So it will not be getting chopped up. But!

I do not have a sump. I put it in the bottom of the return "chamber" I have a Bak-Pak2. I think I will try this out. But. My only issue is..does it need High lighting??? It will be getting light from through the tank. Now I am nervous about leaving it in there!

I would make a little "box" out of some egg crate and place that on the bottom of your tank. That is a temporary solution anyway.

Thanks guys! I will have to check into them all. For while I am gone...I put it in the bottom return of the skimmer. I will get light there, so should be ok for at least a week!
