Thats funny becuase I lost a ton of purple corraline during the move, but I dose with a 2 part every day. All the growth you see on the overflow turned white when I moved but it was every where.

I never use purple up it very bad. the reason is that is lowers your PH very fast. I use B-Ionic 2 part.

make sure you have some good flow in your tank and keep the water perfect! In no time you will have a complete coralline algae wall.

Great rockwork william! I like the colt!

I think next month I'm going to add another 100lbs of rock not LR but it will get there. I'm trying to build a big wall of LR on the back of the tank. The colt and the xenia are new to the tank. They did not have pulsing xenia but maybe next time.

Just in general the flow should be steady. And if your dosing with a 2 part or a reactor the growth should really good.

I dont think it would be bad! It comes with a little measuring cup you should start off with the smallest amount and work your way up. Remember to test your Calcium levels and Alk. Remember dont add anything you dont test for.

This was the growth of corillan just after 3 month before the move you see its starting to cover the glass. When I had my spraybar attached. I didnt like it thou it was not eye friendly. Plus I was getting all kinds of algea blooms becuase there was not enough water flow. So I removed it.

I would try to aim for around a 20x turnover. If you look under the totm voting thread you will see my tank there and all the coralline all over the glass. literally COVERED and I have anywhere from 20-35x turnover(cuz of my wavemaker)
