| Has anyone used the Switching Current Water Director (SCWD)? ![]() I was thinking of doing this instead of 2 powerheads and a wavemaker. Im just wondering how fast it switches from one to the other. SCWD Wavemaker - Switching Current Water Director (Squid) (Saltwater Aquarium Supplies > Wavemakers > External ) the chart says for 720gph, it ****ches every 4 sec. I want to use a pump that is from 700gph to 900gph, and im already loising about 100gph when it goes throught this. Also has anyone had a digital salinity tester? JBJ Nano Cubes chillers and Lighting and one last thing, has anyone heard on the kent Deion 200r? it doesnt use a membrane apperantly, http://www.kentmarine.com/assets/004/8639.pdf |

| I have used the SCWD, I like it, just be sure to get a pump that is strong enough, when water flows to it you will lose about 200GPH. So get a pump with enough umph to push the water through ![]()

| Ok Im back with the eel questions. I found the 3 most peacful eels to keep in a tank. The Zebra eel being the most peaceful of the 3 eels, can live in a comunity tank. It is very active during the day. every article says something different on housing though. But it could be from 75g to 150g and up. it grows 60" so I dont know about this one. now the banded eel is really shy, and mostly is active at night unlike the zebra. It also grows up to an average of 27", so 75g would be enough, now the snowflake eel being the least shy out of the 3, Its mostly active at night, though it sometimes comes out during the day, it grow up to 24" in captivity. I think of this one as a bit of a risk with other fish that it can swallow easily. so out of the 3 eels, wich one would sound like the best option? I think i know the one i like, just want to hear opinions.

| I would say the snow flake eel. I know they are the most commone, but that is ebcause they are one of the easiest to care for.
