Taken from dr foster and smith... Most versatile flow product on market - use for 20-500 gallon aquariums with flows 100 to 3,000 gph! So, it can be adjusted and in a 29 gallon if you use the smallest setting you would be getting about 3x the tank volume from that power head alone. You could also get 100x out of it, but it would just be a tornado in your tank. It works in my mind. If you have the money go for it.

Hi Jeremy, you can use it just buy a regulator valve. It fits on to the out flow end of your power head and you can close it to regulate the flow.

I have 2 on my 75 gal and they are the best pumps I have ever owned. The wireless driver is adjustable from 300-3,000 gph. It has various modes (reef crest, lagoon, etc.) for random flow. Best of all, you can use them if you decide to upgrade.

Sorry pooh, I was thinking of something else when I responded. Now my thinking is; "Are you for real"? That pump costs more than your whole set up probably. They are great but on a similar line the hydors are perfect for you. I like the idea of no unsightly cord in the tank but come on the price is outrageous! Oh well, to each his own.
