Default Calcium Level Problems Solved!

Calcium Level is finally up to 400 mg/l & Alkalinity is at 4 meq/l! Just learned tonight that my calcium level never was as low as I thought i was. Never was below 300. I did not interpret the Seachem Reef Status Calcium test kit instructions properly. After I got bad #'s again tonight, I thought I had a bad test kit, so I test with distilled water & the reference. #'s came back bad again. Went back and read through each step of the test instructions again and found the problem. Reading the titration in reverse order is what threw me off. So when the titrant syringe was at .2, the calcium level is actually 400 rather than 100 as I was reading the test before. So my calcium level is actually right in range now! This is a big relief. I am now using Seachem's additive for maintaining the calcium level and the the tank is doing great. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me with this problem before. Reading the test properly makes a big difference! I'm not a mathmatician, and the directions aren't really clear enough. All is good now though.
