Default Dry Food...flake or pellet

OK, so I was at Petsmart reading fish food labels for research and they did not have Formula One. If anyone out there is using this, I would like to know the first 5 ingredients and if they give the percentage of ash content, protein content if they have it listed.

I will be on that site. I noticed their listing of meat and it was mixed in with the binders (wheat germ, wheat flour) I am betting anything that the protein laden food is listed individually instead of being lumped together as whole fish meal with the binder as being the 2nd most important ingredient. Order is everything. I want to know the exact order.

I know that order is everything and am surprised that it looks like they mix the order up on their website. As least they give some percentages to you there. I think I have some Formula 1 pellets and Formula 2 flakes at home, and will try to remember to write down what your requesting so that I can post it for you on Monday if nobody else responds sooner.

Thanks...I'm glad that you noticed that the ingredients may be out of order. I feed frozen food so pellet and flake are mysteries to me. Although, I've have read just enough where I can see from the ingredients on the Ocean Nutrition where the fat content is coming from. In the foods meant more for omnivores and herbivores- to some extent, I will be interested in where spirulina is located on the label. It is good for the percentages I needed to browse. I am supposed to hang out at the mall tomorrow...will have to see if they have a pet store that sells any of these foods. I feel like a dorky high school kid running from store to store doing a comparative analysis of magazines or the price of green beans. lol

Here's the readings from my Formula 1 pellets:

Protein - Min 41%
Fat - Min 9.0%
Fiber - Max 2.4%
Ash - Max 10.5%
Moisture - Max 14.5%

First five ingredients - Shrimp meal, Euphausia Pacifica Plankton, Sardine Meal, Wheat Flour, Salmon Egg Oil

Let me know if you want me to write down what my Formula 2 flakes readings are.

Looking at the Ocean Nutrition website, it looks like they must have changed their Formula 2 pellets since I bought mine, but the Formula 1 flake content that reefnoob has everything in the same order as their website. The #2 pellets that I use have a very similar ingredient order as their website, so I would guess that their website lists the ingredients for all of their products in the same order as the containers.
